Welcome to the latest issue of Just Drinks’ digi-mag!

We’ve had little choice but to get geopolitical, with 2022 kicking off with a supply chain squeeze, a cost-of-living crisis... oh, and another war. All of these are having a seismic effect on the consumer, with beverage brand owners having to navigate the choppiest of waters they’ve seen for quite some time.

In this issue, we concentrate on how the drinks industry is dealing with the supply chain issues brought on in no small part by the pandemic. There’s plenty of advice from our beer, soft drinks, spirits and wine category commentators, so hopefully, you’ll emerge from this turbulence fitter, stronger and happier.

There’s also a brace of fascinating interviews, one with Anheuser-Busch InBev’s chief supply officer, another with the CEO of NIO Cocktails. The latter interview focuses on how the e-commerce channel has exploded – Again, thank you, COVID – and shares best practice with an industry that had been operating behind the online curve.

We also continue our series of market profiles, this time heading to China for a consideration of the soft drinks opportunity in the country.
