Welcome to the new edition of Just Drinks’ quarterly digital magazine.

Much like the other climate issues facing the global drinks sector, water risk is one where some progress has been made but, many industry watchers argue, nowhere near enough.

How drinks companies manage their use of water is complex, taking in not just their own operations but those right along their supply chains. As David Burrows reports in our cover story, drinks manufacturers say they recognise the importance of water scarcity but there remains a lot of work for them to do. And fast.

Elsewhere, in our final issue of the year, we look at how vintners are using technology to improve the quality (and taste) of non-alcoholic wines, we hear from Lipton about its efforts to grow in China’s tea market and we set out what could shape M&A in the drinks sector in 2025.
